A visionary leader and motivator, Dr. Prasad has received numerous accolades, including the Business Icon Award (2012), Global Peace Award (Tokyo), and the Bharathan Charity Award. As the mastermind behind Newyear Golden Tea, he emphasizes innovation, quality, and social responsibility, guided by the principles of the 5 Ms — Man, Machinery, Material, Money, and Management.

Born on October 6, 1979, in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh, Anand Swarup Shukla is a BJP leader with degrees in Mathematics, Political Science, and Education. He served as MLA (2017–2022) and as Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs & Rural Development in Uttar Pradesh. An RSS volunteer since the age of 12, he rose through ABVP, became college president in 1998, worked across multiple states, and led a 10-day Padayatra in 2011.

A third-generation planter managing the Billimalai Tea Estate (Nilgiris), Uday Kumar co-founded Avataa, which has won global awards including the Tea Board Innovation Award (2013). Estate teas are often pre-sold due to high demand. Committed to sustainability, farmer welfare, and conservation, his estate has earned Rainforest Alliance Certification. He also pioneered a coir pith export unit in 1993 and has over 20 years of expertise in tea and machinery trading.

A quarter of a century ago, in the year 2000, Dr. M.M. Prasad planted the seed for the idea of New Year Tea Group A. devoted follower and advocate of Osho, the renowned philosopher and revolutionary, Dr.M.M. Prasad dedicated himself to spiritual enlightenment, social reformation, and nurturing the spirit of entrepreneurship. Early in this century, he ventured into the tea business, achieving success across various enterprises. His journey continues through scientific research and development, recognizing the social and environmental significance of his work.
